Your spot is safe with me, my friend.![]()
Couldn't help but notice that most of the posts here are from you good folks in the USA. Here's a few of the knives I take on a typical days coarse fishing here on the other side of the pond in old Blighty. By 'coarse' fishing I mean that on fresh water rivers, lakes and canals for everything except trout and salmon.
No fishing pics yet, but this is a nice Imperial Fish knife I picked up along with a My Buddy tacklebox and a De-Liar scale/tape measure. Cool little gadgets that I will take on my next fishing trip. Great thread and I hope it sticks around.
Blake, that LM Style is my favorite fishing tool! It has to be the most handy one I have. No pics today, but I like to carry a SAK camper, the LM, and a cheaper pocket knife in case of loss. Usually it is also stainless to keep maintenance easy.

I like your fishin' setup Blake and especially the fish carved in the knife handle.:thumbup:
My father used to have a De-Liar just like that - I am going to have to take a look next time I am up at my mom's house. Nice fish knife !![]()
Come to Eastern Iowa along the Mississippi River... that's a tiny one. When I was younger I helped a guy get a 65lb+ Buffalo rough fish in that he snagged. Then after 1.5 hrs of chasing the darn thing.. He didn't want it; just his snagging hook back!Seriously we gave millions of tons of rough fish in the river. No one here except commercial fisherment net them. You'd have a blast around here with a bobber, and some kernel corn!
I love fishing probably more than knives...I went to a "secret spot" for to try for some wild brown trout.
