We can't keep those things here! We can get a permit to keep paddle fish though. Nice sturgeon sosa

Nice trout and walleye? And thanx Megabass I've always wanted to try smoked paddlefish we don't have those here.

Hit one of my favorite native streams last weekend. The weather and water were great, caught several nice trout. The only negative? I saw several sets of boot prints that I didn't make.

The walleye get this big here. But you won't eat em like that or you will puke

I'm in Fremont CA. We have tons of lakes but they are heavily pressured. I think the closest walleye fishery is the Columbia river in Washington and Oregon. Plenty of planted trout and catfish here but that gets old quick. I think the best bass fisheries we have are clear lake and the delta.

First Lunker of year... fly rod with spin cast reel.. 4 lb monofilament spyderwire... 22" long, est 7.5-10 lbs? no one had a scale?! I just bought one today though! :) I'm 5'9" and my ELBOWS are at my side.. no fake photo blow up. This was a horse! I really thought about having it mounted... but it's almost time for them to make more baby lunkers?! So I put him back in the pond at my Dad's farm.

42" 24 lbs 14oz. If I would of got it to the baitshop right away it would of gone 25 since it wouldn't of been dried out lol. Goin on the wall

MEGABASS, STOP CATCHING ALL THESE WALL HANGERS!!! The jealousy is killing me.;):D

When ice clears, I'm gonna step up my game.

BS, all the fish you've posted have been monsters.

I bet that was quite difficult by yourself. Even if had a net it would not have fit.;) Were you in boat or on shore, what were you going for? I caught a 46"(or so) Muskie on 6lb test few years ago. Fishing for walleye. No way could have got it in boat by myself. I'm gonna try to get another one or two this year. Biggest Pike ever caught was 12-15 lbs tops. That's a real nice one.

46 is a great musky and on 6lb test:eek: . I was actually fishing from shore in our local marina throwing a Texas rigged smash tube with an 1/8 tungsten under the docs for smallmouth and that thing came streaking out of no where when I was about 5 yards from the bank! I was watching my tube as I was twitching it back and bam this big dark shadow came streaking out of nowhere...Pretty sure I shook so hard I didn't need to set the hook haha

That's awesome. :D Best catching something like that when it's unexpected. Here's a pic of that muskie. Things got bloody, he tried to eat my bobber (I believe), missed the strike and hooked him in the stomach when he turned back, dragged the boat all over the place down the river, very hard to keep him(and us) out of the thick brush overhanging shore. Was a bruiser, tried to weigh him but flung my scale in the drink thrashing around. Around 46", wouldn't sit still and didn't want to keep out of water long since beat up as is. I'm gonna try for more this year.
