It's actually African Pike. This one is a bit smaller but they are quite aggressive!Neat!
That almost looks like a hybrid largemouth-walleye.
Largeye? Wallmouth?
Cool! Didn’t know such a thing existed. It's actually African Pike. This one is a bit smaller but they are quite aggressive!
All night with thermals. We drive around scanning fields until we find pigs, the park up the road and stalk up to them down wind. We try to get under 100 yards for singles, right around 40-50 yards if it's a group. Then line up, count down and rain hell. I'd say we conservatively saw 150 pigs. I'd say we had a 50% kill rate. Spent all day yesterday processing the ones we brought back. We're good on pork for a while. Probably 200lbs of ground sausage, plus loins and a few choice whole cuts off the three big sows. The two medium size pigs got cut in half lengthwise and the five piglets got left whole.Damn! Killed 81 but saw hundreds?jackal_727 , do you only hunt them at night or do you go out stalking them in the daytime too? My only experiences so far hunting them has been in SC in the swamp and pine plantation state lands so it’s walking lots of miles through the brush and sloughs going after the ones that get pinned into smaller areas due to flood waters.
