Fishing, and hunting reports (share yours)

One of my bucket list dream hunts. Take lots of pictures please!
I will for sure. My wife and I will be there for 3 weeks.
Planning on writing up a full review of the FK2 and the SDFK (maybe the SSDFK if it gets here in time). I'll be sending it to CPK to use as they see fit.
If I can manage to post the full thing here, I will.

Nice smallies, Grenock Grenock . What have they been hitting?
Most have been on jerkbaits, Megabass 110s in various colors, often hitting on the pause. There have been quite a few on a tube, getting it on bottom and then bumping it into everything as slow as you can until you hit one in the face with it. Finally, a few on crankbaits, same as the tube, dive them into the bottom and keep bouncing them off structure as slow as you can,
Nice fish Grenock! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks boss, we have been having some good days this winter.
Those are beautiful Smallies, way to go! Did you by any chance measure or weight that monster in your first pic? I know Smallies and that guy is a real Slob-a-Saurus 👍👍
That girl was 18.75" and was 4.09 on the crappy little scale we had. She was starting to egg up. We have caught longer fish this winter, but they were 3/4 of a pound lighter than she was. Hopefully we can stick one around five pounds in the coming weeks before they spawn out.

We found that 5 pounder. More accurately, my buddy did. 22 inches and 5.37 pounds.

Sorry about the straight arm hero shot, I tell him not to do that shit, but the red on the neck is just too strong with this one.

No apologies needed buddy, I go by the hand on the jaw for sizing it up.

That’s a beauty, a true 5 pounder. I like that dark color pattern too from the dark water the fish pick up.

Congratulations to your buddy and thanks for sharing, next one belongs to you 👍

Wow - I really miss crappie and bluegill. Looking at your haul, I know you had a fun day.

My report is not so great - a native Texan, two weeks ago I finally got around to trying fishing off the Washington coast. Got nothing. BUT...I have a few great trout knives, just in case, and my 2023 WA state fishing license arrived today! I look forward to posting photos of salmon, steelhead and maybe even a ling cod.
