Fixed blades

Nice. How do you like the CRK ?

The crk looks like it would be a great sticker. I've stuck hogs with my glock knife, which worked as well as any more expensive knife, but that crk looks like it would do it with snazz lol
Big fan of the CRK Green Beret. It’s definitely made for fighting/combat with subtle hints of survival. It’s super light for its size and has excellent balance. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a knife that felt as lively in hand. This would definitely make an excellent pic sticker, and with the Magnacut steel, wouldn’t oxidize or corrode as easily as knives like the Tops Wild Pig Hunter.

My DC4 is getting a little “tired”. Looking to try the DMT. I mainly sharpen up SR-101.
You'll love how easily it will make sr101 shave. Like stupid easy. Fast as hell too. I have an edge pro apex 4, water stones, sharp maker, lansky, belt grinders and I use the dmt stones more than anything.

Blue, red, green are more than adequate for 95% of sharpening.
Red, blue and green are perfect! I might have to throw black in there. I’m ultra hard on my tools and once in a while I’ll deform or seriously flatten an edge. Out of all steels I’ve tried, SR-101 is my absolute favorite, followed closely by D3V and INFI.

It's been a pleasure using and trying these 2 David Mary knives in 15n20 out. Thanks Wild Willie Wild Willie

It was my pleasure sir, and I'm totally looking forward to putting your Busse to work up here. I'll be sure to provide a steady diet of conifer tips and hardwoods. We're jockeying equipment around this weekend to start a big job in the city, so it should be an eventful week.

The main thing to note when using dmt stones is don't apply to much pressure. Let the diamond cut, don't force it. That's it.

I have two of the big stones with a different grit on each side. One has black on one side, blue on the other, and the other has red on one side, green on the other. They make quick work of any knife in any steel.

I have a diafold too, just the red/green one. Works great for field sharpening and weighs nothing.

I could use some of the larger dmts. Agreed on how well they sharpen any steel. I rarely use my black side. I find the blue is good for dings and what not, obviously depending on how severe it is. Touch ups can even skip to red or green.

That’s been my experience too. I only start with blue if the edge is pretty damaged. Very rarely use black. Usually red then green will git r dun. Strop on jeans after and good to go.
