Love it. Wish more people made 'boring' knives. What's the steel on that one?

It's 3V. Started off really pointy. I called it my Straight-back Farmer, but now it's a not pointy drop point. I did a complete regrind. Changed Everything.
Idk what to call it?
Even redid the handle. Was walnut.
Now, it's a chili powder micarta.

It's a little/big knife. Small enough for comfortable carry, tough enough for big jobs.

That's the Kelly Kettle, the name of this size is the Trekker.
Super fun way to boil water, and very fast and efficient.

First time I saw one was years ago on a commercial for SMKW. I think it popped up on the Tom O’Dell crapola show. The second I saw it - “oooooh, what’s dat?!”

When I took that pic I had just cut it out of the bag, still had the factory grease on it. It’s cleaned up and edge oiled…. Waiting to kick ass like Chuck Norris. Hopefully get to wail on it this weekend.
