Fixed blades

I've shared this in other threads but since this thread is for fixed blades, why not here I guess:)? We need more activity here by the way. At least a post everyday..

I believe this is Cudeman's 2nd or 3rd best seller, for good reason. I love this knife, it is handmade to a perfect fit & finish.

12 cm / 4.72" BL

It's my first Cudeman, then bought their undisputed best seller MT5.

A somewhat trimmed down collection, as I sold off most of my Esee’s. But no safe queens here!

You should post more of your work!
Thank you. I may from time to time.

I'm not one of the makers that wants to keep every knife I make. In fact, most of the time I'm so tired of seeing them/working on them/fiddling with them to get everything "right" that I can't wait to send it away.😆😁

But this one was an exception. This one might be my favorite fixed blade I've ever made. Everything from the lines, proportions to the materials to the feel and balance checked all the boxes for my personal tastes. Wish I had better pictures.

Nice !

I have too many to fit in one pic by now. And here in the mountains, I actually get to carry them.

Once I discovered my love of fixed blades, a huge, previously ignored part of BF opened up to me, we have a number of amazing craftsmen here.

Roland.
Is that the Magnacut fighter that sold on here recently? I was so close to pulling the trigger on it, and I wish I had!

It’s a similar pattern and size (butt is different), but 0.25” and A2 (which I prefer, actually).

I’m sure Paul CPE_Knives CPE_Knives will make you another one, just ask .... his TAT is great !

I don't do well waiting on the post office. I'm SO impatient.

I purchased a knife Saturday night. I considered ponying up for next day shipping but figured it would ship monday and be here (Tennessee to Michigan) by Wed anyway. So I passed and went standard free shipping.

So I had to wait until Monday to have it shipped. Then Monday I remembered it's a usps holiday so it didn't ship till this morning. Now Tracking says expected delivery is Saturday! That sucks. And if anything delays it (like the MASSIVE freezing rain 36 hour marathon we're in as I type this) I won't see it until Monday at the earliest. So annoying.

Should have spent the $30 for next day shipping.

Completely understand. When I lived up in northern michigan (small small town) I knew my mail guy on a first name basis, he was an army vet too and we were cool, he'd let me grab my knives before they went out for delivery, well before the post office was open for business. I miss that.

Now, if my knife arrives a day early to the post office but isn't scheduled for delivery till the next day, they act like it's a damn burden to walk back there and grab it. 😒

Yeah my post office now is pretty good working with me but the last one in a neighboring town acted so annoyed if I asked to pick something up.

What town did you live in?......if you don't mind me asking. No worries if you don't care to say.

Mail guy up there would say "new knife huh" when I showed up while they were sorting mail before they opened and before delivery goes out lol just give the "yep" while eagerly grinning 🤣
