Stunning! I believe I've seen it before but I appreciate seeing it again. It reminds me that I can't remember when "Best Hunter" was last held. This is actually another one I was fond of. The guard area is my current avatar.

Thanks Richard. Yeah it's been a few years. I miss that one.Stunning! I believe I've seen it before but I appreciate seeing it again. It reminds me that I can't remember when "Best Hunter" was last held.
I have a couple large fixed blades…you know…for the apocalypse. But small fixed blades are much more practical for my day to day activities.

That’s how I feel about my Mega Ratweiler. Not bad for a knife that could pry a door openView attachment 1750467
It took significant effort to thin that edge out and reprofile it. Factory edge was meant for busting up rocks or hitting steel. Now it's perfect for me, good cutter with the ability to be roughed up and pry. I gotta make every blade my own, change/dye handles, reprofile etc.. but the result is a way more useful tool for the tasks I want. That’s how I feel about my Mega Ratweiler.
Nice! How's that batac handle compared to a rmd handle?
The p&l statement handle beats the rmd handle too.Initially not quite as comfortable, but I got used to it and have used it for years now.

But to be honest, my CPK handles blow it out of the water.

Ha the FK2 is actually the one I'm probably going to let go of. I have the non-signature field knife that I like a little better. And have a DEK on order. The p&l statement handle beats the rmd handle too.
Nathan is a good machinist and makes great knives. Love my cpk's too. I need a fk2 to go with my edc2 and dek1.
