BK7 after I took the thumb ramp off, stripped the coating, added the walnut scales and had a custom leather sheath made.

Appreciate it! I used 800 grit on the spine, and 1200 on blade itself. Just touched it up, nothing crazy.

Not necessarily man. In most cases those holes are for removing bullets from cartridges so you can use the powder for starting fire.
I really can’t make it up what size this hole is, I wish we hag a caliper or metric measuring tape…

Looks like 3/16” appr 4.7mm.
