Fixed blades

Now that the leather is dry, follow up on yesterday's post .... Almost nothing I needed to do, @Bill Drake already made the sheath like this :)

I know this isn’t the first time I’ve told you that you’re sexy but damn! And the sheath ain’t bad either! :p

Glad it’s serving you well! I actually swapped the FK2 I carried for a few weeks back for my DEK2 as it is by far and large my perfect carry knife. Awesome pup by the way!!
Thanks, she's a lover and a coon killer. When the chickens get to clucking because a racoon is after em, I release the kraken 🤣

And yea, the dek 2 is nicely sized for edc. I split an English muffin this morning with it and it did surprisingly well for a stout knife. Having both a dek 1 and 2 now and the incoming volunteer 4.5 I may well take a break from buying edc fixed blades for a long while.

The streets of rural central Wisconsin must've gotten a lot meaner since last time I passed through. 😁

From my neighbor's perspective, maybe? Hahaha

True story..... A number of years ago I was outside, in my front yard digging a fairly deep hole one early Sunday morning. Maybe 6am?
I was waist deep in it digging when my across the street neighbor lady came out in her robe and slippers to get their paper. I waved to her...... She paused, then proceeded to come across the street to me.

I was all excited telling her about the rockery (rock garden) that I was digging drainage for so I could grow some native cacti. I was REALLY excited!

She, not having Any of that asked.....saying that she hasn't seen my wife in a good long while....??? Haha, I Laughed & Laughed.....
She then said "No, Seriously." Giving me a Stearn look.

:0

I looked at her calmly, straight faced.
(Thinking the audacity of her insinuating what she did)

I said...... "Nope, that's what the hole in the Backyard is for."

her eyes got really large. She gave an uncomfortable look, turned around, and walked home......

We never talked again.
😂😂😂😂
