Fixed blades

From my neighbor's perspective, maybe? Hahaha

True story..... A number of years ago I was outside, in my front yard digging a fairly deep hole one early Sunday morning. Maybe 6am?
I was waist deep in it digging when my across the street neighbor lady came out in her robe and slippers to get their paper. I waved to her...... She paused, then proceeded to come across the street to me.

I was all excited telling her about the rockery (rock garden) that I was digging drainage for so I could grow some native cacti. I was REALLY excited!

She, not having Any of that asked.....saying that she hasn't seen my wife in a good long while....??? Haha, I Laughed & Laughed.....
She then said "No, Seriously." Giving me a Stearn look.

:0

I looked at her calmly, straight faced.
(Thinking the audacity of her insinuating what she did)

I said...... "Nope, that's what the hole in the Backyard is for."

her eyes got really large. She gave an uncomfortable look, turned around, and walked home......

We never talked again.
😂😂😂😂
I hoped you messed with her just a smidge after that knowing she was likely still watching you. 😁

Back on topic... think it's time I finally knocked the new off this one.

The original in 4V ! Remember when those could be had for about $340 😂 ( secondary without edge cut Westinghouse micarta that is ).
Yeah, and an edc was ~$220. 🤣.

I have one in 3v and fugly terotuf that's been used extensively. I'm curious if I'm able to discern any difference between that and 4v. Probably not, but I'm still excited to bang it up some.

That tero tuff so fugly. Hell no one wants it. I'll take it off your hands as a favor

I thinks it's wonderful and it enjoy it very much... it's splendid in the grip department. Appreciate the generous offer, however.
I still haven't had a knife with tero tuff. Seen it on many knives I've liked for a very long time, but seems it's never on a knife I actually get an opportunity to buy. Suppose to be superior to g10/micarta. Can you tell a difference in feel?

My first ever fatwood find :D
The Opinel 12 saw helped me harvest it.
Oh that delicious smell :)

Yay! fatwood is such awesome stuff!
It is awesome. Totally agree on the smell. As a kid we heated using wood, not pellets but cut and split hardwood. Starting a fire always involved fatwood. That was the only time I enjoyed dealing with firewood.
@coolbreezy37 I'm loving the dek2! I think it will be living right here for the foreseeable future.

It's softer in feel, not like a fake, hard, cheap plastic such as g10 feels.

It's a slightly velvety, rubberier feel compared to micarta.

It gets dirty easy.

Smells like Fruit Loops.
