Fixed blades

There is something magical about using a knife, you’ve used a few thousand times. It’s like it is another finger. You know were the edge is, you know were the tip is even if your eyes are closed.

When you get like that with one knife. Using any other knife is like wearing someone else’s underwear. It works but it doesn’t feel right.

It’s a strange experience. Very Zen like. People who switch a lot never experience that.
Agreed, I'm also like this with my g 19. Doesn't ever change and I know it like the back of my hand.

How's the 3 in hand? Can't tell if that hump would be comfy or too pronounced.
It is really comfortable! I don’t find anything about it that I wish was different. My open hand circumference is 10.25” and the knife fits just great. I really like it and think I will order another with different color scales at some point. It is obvious to me that Bart has put a lot of thought into the designs. The texture of the Micarta is perfect and the sheaths fit like gloves.

Hell yea I'll send you a pm.

For what ever the reason, and this could be because I only had a limited time with your 15n20 blade, I feel like 52100 takes a sharper edge easier. It's tough stuff, and can be taken pretty damn thin and still be durable. It will patina nicely, I haven't used 15n20 in acidic things so I can't compare how it behaves vs 52100.

I'll let you be the judge, I think you'll love 52100. I've whooped on it hard.

I murked a few limes with my little 15n20 the other day.

*Patiently rubs hands while waiting for mine*
The wait will be worth it. 😀
BTW, their communication regarding models, availability, steel choices, etc has been stellar. Bart or Whitney send photos of the completed knife, and she lets you know when it mails. They are a real pleasure to do business with and the knives are simply great!

One of my favorite CPKs:
