All sweet blades , great work !!!! That middle one is just drop dead gorgeous !!!

Haha....I'll take that, I don't think my knives have ever been called Gorgeous before...? Thank You!!!
I kinda agree with you, it has really pretty lines.
I think of myself as a student of design, and what's good looking?
It's funny how a few angles, a few lines, Just geometry makes such a difference, but it does.... I want to make a Bunch of these knives. Thank You for all the compliments.
They are all the same, but different. I can't pick a favorite. (I wish the new owner gets All of them....I know that won't happen, but still It's fun to think about) I hold and fondle them, the wooden one was my first "fondling knife" it was supposed to be mine....It's a Ferrari, a Super Cutter, and Lean.... The middle one is maybe the best? It's stainless after all..... But the top, most recent one registers in your hand perfectly. I really nailed the grip. The thumb area is right where I want it. And Shadetree micarta is Sooooo worth It!

I really need to pay attention to these 3 knives, where they go, and how they are....because they each are so good. (In my opinion) hopefully Yours, too.

One's classy
One is a worker
& one is all performance.

*edit..... One, was suppose to be mine.

The one in the middle is killer.

Thanks....I guess I didn't take good pictures (enough?)
I'm most proud of the top, brass flarred tubing? I finally figured out how to do It perfectly....and in about an hour? I thought about posting pictures in the Makers area of the forum, because nobody Really tells how to do it. .....It's harder than it looks. Ha

WadeWilson WadeWilson and AntDog AntDog , Jackal Ridge (not Edge, sorry my picture lost a lot of resolution in posting) is a friend of mine who has gotten into making knives the past couple of years as a retirement hobby. He has a good day job and cares more for quality and people than trying to make it a profitable business. He hates the internet but realizes he’ll have to engage there (here?) if this hobby takes off. He’s a perfectionist and in no hurry - just enjoys what he does. He’s been selling word of mouth to friends, family, co-workers, etc. for a couple years and is working up to trying a local gun show this year.

He’s done a 100 or so knives of several designs so far. All fixed blades so far. I wish I had pictures of his other designs to share, but I don’t. Everything is AEB-L. He sends them out in batches for professional heat treating and every blade is individually Rockwell tested. I forget what hardness he specifies, but it’s been working great. I’ve been carrying the burlap Micarta one (he does have names for them but I forgot what mine is - I’ll ask) since February and have been beating on it - prying staples out of 2x4’s and everything. It hasn’t chipped and holds a great edge. He tells me to strop it back, and sometimes I do, but I’m also a ceramic rod kind of guy so sometimes I give it a couple swipes back to arm-hair shaving.

He does his own leatherwork and does just about any style sheath a guy asks for. I usually carry mine in a Northwoods with a Buck 301. The orange one is for my brother.

He likes working with Micarta and I think paperstone. He won’t work with G10 or carbon fiber due to health hazards right now until he can build a workshop and get out of the garage attached to the house to reduce exposure to the family. He doesn’t stabilize wood but will work with it if someone supplies it, I think.

I think he does great work and have offered to post his stuff for sale here for him since he hates the internet, but he didn’t want to because it would take him out of the loop connecting with the buyer; he wants to make sure guys get exactly what they want.

I’ll ask him if I can put you two in touch with him via email or phone, and let you know. Wade, you’re only an hour from us.

They are super cool knives, but don't post his stuff without proper membership, the mods will come down on ya Hard....He's going to need to do that.

I don't really understand what qualifies as a regular seller, a maker, distributor, and manufacture. I know it appears some cross the lines, but not my call....

Yes, thank you. I was going to have to go look into all that and make sure I understood it, but since he didn't want me to, it became a moot point.
