Fixed blades

Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist 's D3V and MC are so good, that his AEB-L flies under the radar, very underrated, IMO.

'MURICA!!!

Rumor has it that the Soldiers' "Q"-knife sheaths, in WWII, were designed in the same manner...and for the same reason.

Knife on the left, .45 ACP 1911-A1 on the right... 😍

I definitely remember reading it somewhere, and started out with it in mind.
A reference like that and you left the 45 out of the photo.😔.
MURICA
I don't have one either, biggest bore I have in a handgun is my Glock 20, but it doesn't see much carry since I stopped hunting.

Just yesterday, my cousin sent me an IG vid that was a tribute to "Miami Vice".

Slightly before the introduction of the Colt "Delta Elite", Don Johnson basically introduced the 10MM to the American market. "Sonny Crockett" carried a "Bren Ten" for about the first two seasons. After that, he carried a DA/SA .45 ACP Smith 645.

I've read about the Bren 10. The 20 was my first handgun, and at the time Glock was the only one still producing anything remotely affordable for a 21 year old kid with a farm job.
That is a shame. I understand stopping hunting. It has been a long time since I went. I love handgun hunting. Bow hunting on steroids
There wasn't really any rhyme or reason to it, other than deciding that if I'm going to be sitting outside freezing, that I'd rather be getting paid to do it.

How was the fishing?
Didn't bring anything to fish with unfortunately, a small crustacean did attach itself to my sons jeans and make the several mile hike back to the truck though 🤣

Being as last waterfall was dry I wasn't sure how much water this one would have. There definitely was enough for fish.

Only asked because the telescopic pole was in your gear pile in the other thread. Looked like a fantastic way to spend a day. Don't have many waterfalls in my neck of the woods.

Perfectly reasonable assumption and question. When we got there my son was like where's the rod? 😆 rather than pack the rod and maybe get skunked if it's dry, I think I'll keep line and a small tackle box in the kit 24/7. But idk yet, that's an area I could improve. I've fished by hand and line with great success but a pole is more convenient.
