Fixed blades

Very nice you made them! I wasn't soliciting a sale, just admiring them and wishing I had a stacked leather handle knife.

Translate works well, yes I can see how the leather rings would require more work, for sure. It has an aesthetic that is very pleasant though, and it's warmer to the touch.

Just got these in the past week or so. Haven't had a chance to use them yet except using the Erickson for some minor final clean up from some local tornados that spun off from Hurricane Helene. Even as far east as here near Savannah GA, we had trees down and fences blown everywhere, several houses damaged. Some worse than that. We did not get it as bad as NC.

All three are very nice. This is my first PLackey. I have not used it, but really like it. Customer service with Paul is top notch. Attention to detail, I would rate as very high. Everything about the knife is great. Yes, the swedge is sharp.

I love the Volunteer knife. I asked Bart if he would use a slightly thicker liner in the handle to fit my hands. Their regular liner is .020" per side. He used .060" per side for this one. He had no problem with that and did not hesitate to change their process a little for this.
