As far at the current knife that I'm considering, I'll just leave that to the imagination.


The knife that I had built a few years back? I settled on 300-thousandths of 5160.

I affectionately call it my "APEX Bowie"...

I have yet to run-up on a piece of wood (*green or aged) that it won't split...and I'm around a LOT of Mesquite and Oak. :)

Just sayin'...

So much I love about this knife. Yes. Just yes. .3 thick 5160 is monster level toughness
