Very coolI was asked if I could help out and rehandle a knife for a fellow member here.
Idk What the steel is or who the maker is, or anything about the knife?
It had hickory handles that got damaged when left outside.A warped blade I tweaked the tang with my carbide hammer. I then used fasteners and better epoxy attached to micarta liners. It Should help keep the scales from warping so much.
I tried to keep it look like it could have been original, and not about me. I only tweaked it. I kept the original, thick edge. It's a chopper.
The handle looks really great.I was asked if I could help out and rehandle a knife for a fellow member here.
