Fixed blades

Have you ever unscrewed the black handle, I wonder what they are like? Are they chainring bolts? Kinda almost sorta look like them?

I've thought about trying them
The ZT or the DPX? I haven't had either apart but can do so to satisfy your curiosity 😁

The design and everything on it looks like a perfect EDC knife. Do you remember the stock thickness luethge luethge ?

That particular model was made in 3 sizes I believe. The XL was 5.25 inch blade if I remember correctly, regular was 4.25 and I think he made a mini in 3.75 ( I could be wrong about the mini ). The stock thickness on that particular one was a bit over 5/32 - maybe around .17 , 80crv2 steel on that one with “fire dog” burgundy/red micarta. Absolute wood slayer grind that worked well from kitchen to yard work. The maker was a member here.. not sure he’s been around lately. Website is still active and he drops new batches weekly ( 2-4 knives at a time ). Hope that was of some help 👍

That knife was exceptionally well rounded.. chop, carve, slice etc .. all bases covered. I’m pretty sure I sold all of those chasing Gossman’s 👍
Love that PL knives piece!!!! Any info about it would be most appreciated🙏

The PL. As far as I know that particular knife was a one off. That model was an interpretation of a Hudson Bay knife.. and an absolute beast it is. 5.25 inches of 3/16 8670 steel, saber to convex grind, vintage Westinghouse micarta, OD g10 liners and an equally impressive leather sheath.

PLackey PLackey makes some incredible heirloom level pieces. If you were ever on the fence about one of his knives - DO IT.
