Opinions ?

Bark River Bravo 6 gen 2. The blade says it’s 3v, the fit and finish did not exceed expectations ( sarcasm ), the primary grinds are mostly even to my ocd eyes, the edge took about 5 min to get fully sharp and the handle scales are only off in a few places. I feel like bark river gives no shits about improving their well earned fit and finish reputation ( but if you buy one of their knives expecting something only 75% finished you won’t be let down ).

I like the knife, it’s stout, mean and well balanced.. I slapped 3 coats of Obenaufs on the sheath and put a good toothy microbevel along the edge. Not sure if I’m keeping it yet.. I do want to beat the crap out of though.

I've had about a dozen or so and liked most of the designs. They're all gone now and will never buy another one. I realized I will never like sloppy knives and I especially dont like grab bag steel. There are so many other good knives out there I see no reason to buy BR. And also there's Mike.

Now there's a knife begging to be used. Designed by someone that knows how to make a working knife.
Thank you sir! There was input on the design from two very successful local elk guides hence the name. I've been an admirer of your work for many years. Those are indeed some intense buckeye burl blocks!
