Great pair - The BG Hellrazor looks great without CBT cluttering up the flats.
Appreciate it, Kyle! I love this pair! I love the NFNO, but I actually prefer the HR. I definitely agree about the CBT, that’s the main reason I wanted the BG HR. They’re hard to find so it took a while.

Not Mine.......

This is from a Pass-A-Round by @Joseph Bandeko
He's a maker here on BF. He's only 19 years old, and very talented. Go check out his work, and sign up for this Pass Around. His knife begs to be used Hard.

I had a limb from some trees that I cut down up by my parents house. My parents are at the age of letting things go, and the the trees were leaning against their barn. I cut them down that weekend by myself. It ended up being a trying week. The week my father passed away. I saved the wood, and I have some more that I'm going to dry. Id like to use it for some handles? I needed to split it up for drying. The wood was very dense, and heavy.
I don't know what it is? If any body has any ideas, please let me know...... I guessed locust?

Wow, what a knife. This is Beefy.
What's surprising me is that I like it more than I originally figured. It's balanced very well.
This isn't my official review, stay tuned for More!

Digging through my phone for old pics.... I'm 99% sure these are them.

My Daughter ran your pictures through some type of ID app that they use to ID different Flora species, especially when it’s young, first few years of growth, and easily mistaken for something else.

It’s a paid app, so I can’t even copy and paste a link for you. But was able to take some screenshots, so that may at least point you in a better starting off position.

I’ll post it directly below this post buddy, it makes it much easier to read that way.

Maybe we will get lucky and it is going to be one of these.

I am truly sorry for you loss my friend, my condolences and prayers to both you and your family

Crag the Brewer Crag the Brewer ,
I posted just 1 of these 3 picture elsewhere today, but it can/does belong here in the Fixed Blade thread, and here for you too.

May this beautiful Female Northern Cardinal, together with a nice DEK1, bring a pleasant smile and peaceful thoughts to you when you see this 🙂.

Love the pictures, and all the efforts with my question of the wood's identification.

I'm really at a loss for words and how to express myself here.
The amount of concerns and caring Here is beyond belief..... :D

I really didn't mean for this thread to wander. I was just recounting where these limbs came from for the knife test. They are somewhat important to me, but I never expected, the out reach from So Many members here. I appreciate it.

I was raised to be the "strong silent"type when it comes to this stuff. Cold, and possibly insensitive.
I don't know what to say.

It's interesting that people Here have been more outreaching and interacting than in my own circles..... We have a Great group here.

Again, THANKS. Thank You!

*I'm ok. I'll be ok.
-I'm not used to being fussed over.
(Let's all just focus on knives....haha). :D
