This is an older video, but the knives are built the same way, and of the same stock thickness. The tang/guard shoulders are heavily radiused to prevent stress risers.

In my experience, short of a freak catastrophic failure (which can happen to any knife, full tang included), you will somehow break the blade like any other knife before separating the blade from the handle. The only ways I have separated them involved a torch or just completely grinding the handle off.

Good enough for me. Some time soon I'll snag one. I'd like to potentially replace the knife in my edc backpack with a hh knife depending on weight
