Fixed blades

It's only been a month, and you miss her already.... haha

This was a fun one, I will need to make More.
THANKS

You should definitely make more. Your knives cut better than the majority of knives I’ve ever tried. That looks like no exception. Very friendly looking problem solver you got there Mr Brewer 👍

*Green micarta makes everything better as well.

I
Just curious but what’s the reason for thanks as your logo?

It's complicated, but a simple way of wrapping up A Lot about me.

I want to make the Best tools that I can. I spend A Lot of time making them.
It's really a labor of love. I don't think I charge enough for my work.....maybe All knives are under priced, idk? I'm not doing it for money, I want to make them. I feel like I Need to make them.... I'm usually making something, at any given time in my life.

I kind of think that when we are buying a custom, handmade knife.....we aren't so much buying the knife. We are Actually buying the person making our products, buying their time. Time away from their friends, family, yard work that's neglected, home projects ignored. Time that could be spent hiking, relaxing, reading, having fun......whatever. Life.
We are buying into Who the maker is. Equally as much as what they make.
Each of us Makers is a Brand. We are.
Some people are going to like us, follow us, support us, and believe in us.
Some aren't. That's ok, too. ......We all want different things.
We are all different kinds of people.

The interaction I get from being Here is immense.
The money amount I get is nothing compared to knowing how much people love my work so far. I'm surprised by the reactions actually. I didn't think my work would be seeked out like it is...... That has made me beyond happy! Thrilled. And a bit nervous too. I wasn't expecting that. My work isn't for Everyone.
It's rough. Still covered in heat treatment marks, dings, scratches, and wonky, hand ground bevels... I actually tell people in my sale posts, "Not to buy my knives"

I've been told they don't look great, it's Ok, but id argue that..... I think my knives are beautiful in a different way. They have a different kind of charm.....and, their high performance makes up for lack of polish & finish.

I have a Pass-A-Round currently going around..... Maybe sign up to see My work?
Thread 'Cruwear Pass A Round ......THANKS!' https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/cruwear-pass-a-round-thanks.1935722/

*Edit. I realized I didn't mostly say....
When I first found my Mark, I was asked if my customers are thanking me, or am I thanking them?
WelI, I think it's a little bit of Both.
And yet, Sharing/giving a knife to someone is special, and its More than the sum of both parts.

Long story short
My mark, my Brand is an conglomeration of my Huge appreciation of what I have here, making people happy, and a bit of my self-deprecating humor/personality.
There is alot more to it, a Lot more I want to give back to the community. Other things I'm working on.... I could ramble on forever, if you let me.

THANKS.

I like your weird logo :)

Thank You....
I actually spent a Lot of time thinking about it/designing it.
It's funny, I never meant to cause ripples in this lake.....

But I get WAY More talk about my Makers Mark, and my phrase of making nice and boring knives.....than the knife styles I'm drawn to, or the steels I use, or design philosophy..... Haha. I know I'm On to something. With all the ruckas. :)

I mentioned a while back that I had an order for eleven of my Cowboy Toothpick model. A grandfather wanted to give one to each of his grandkids. They were to be handled in wood. As it turned otu and by coincidence I had eleven different woods in the shop I could use:

Prophetic perhaps, long lost grandson? I did indeed build 12 of those. The 12th was in Bubinga:
