Has anyone ever un-guarded the top guard on a team gemini?
In use it doesnt bother me at all but I've wondered what it would look like without it

Not that I can remember, but I wouldn't doubt it being done. There's lots of models without the double guard though if you didn't want to go through the hassle of grinding.

I could be wrong , it has happened. But I kinda remember an old thread on this with the TGLB. That it wasn’t recommended due to the light brigade treatment under the handle.

I was just pondering. Not a crack on the TG, I love it. I was admiring it at my desk after a few beers, makes me feel like Crocodile Dundee;) 😂 .
So well balanced, I wouldn't alter mine. Certainly wouldn't be upset if I owned more of them.

Just figured someone had to have modded it at some point and I had not come across it yet. I could see how that could be a problem if you got into the scales,on the light brigades.
Cheers

Any others diff heat treated I should know about 🧐
Battle Rat, Battle Guard, Camp Tramp, M6, M9, Gen1 Ratweiler, Chopweiler, Waki, maybe the Rucki, and I’m sure a few more I can’t think of.

The black on black Battle Rat, and I believe the Howling Rat.
Don’t think the HR was. Think they were thru hardened, but could be wrong.
