Took the UFK with me on a short drive holiday up north in Malaysia’s ClubMed Cherating Beach. It’s a peaceful resort facing the South China Sea.

It did 2 river cruises in the mangrove to check out the fireflies at night and the wild life during the day. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the UFK on the cruise with many other strangers. I didn’t wish to frighten anybody. The below pictures were taken after a short hike in the resort. The sea in the background of those pictures was South China Sea.

The red rocks were hematite which has iron in it. The hematite here has less than 50% iron so they don’t react very strongly to magnet.

My UFK came today. First impression, I really like this. Handle is a great fit for me, weight and balance feel natural. Shaving sharp. I like everything about it. I will spend some time getting some use time in but I have used enough knives to know what I like and I think this one is going to stick around for a good long time.

I agree my friend. I vacillated between the Tero Tuf, OD micarta, and unbuffed burlap. I finally settled on unbuffed burlap.

I'm a tad late to the game but thanks to @Odog27, I was able to snag a FK2 at the last sale.
First words out of my mouth were "oh wow!"
This is a gorgeous knife. Feels great in the hand and easily dispatched the box it came in.
