So I opened the mailbox today and there was a package i was not expecting inside.....the hairs on my neck stood up! Its the right size I thought.... its about time I thought... IT IS!!!! HDS systems on the shipping !!!!!!!! OMG Run up stairs forget about the elevator, I'm opening up this sucker RIGHT NOW!!!!! Finally got my 170 rotary, to add to my HDS herd.... have a 120 HCRI (still my secret favorite), a 250 rotary (my forever EDC), and now the 170 ( as far as I can tell the in field EMS choice above all).....One thing I can say for sure is that Henry has taught me more about light than 49n years of looking at it, or all the physics I've ever had.... I didn't even think about color temperature or actual color rendering of artificial light till I got my 120, and that is why it's my favorite..... Rubi those first pics you posted of the 120 really told the whole story in a nutshell.....Leaves in the dark are the ultimate in color rendering for a Newenglander like me, and I got it at first glance. The 170 is a great compromise between ultimate photons and color, square in the middle between the 120 and the 250, AMAZING! Henry is the god of portable light IMO, he should be designing LED light bulbs for the masses and making the USA energy independent once and for all.... sorry for the crazy fanboy rant but wow what a product line...... more to follow..
