Flashlights

No way! Well I know what I must do! Haha. Highly unlikely to find one though.

If I could stop dropping iPhones I'd have posted a photo. Never trusted the cloud, wish celebs were a little smarter. ;)

Photos do exist...Rob took a nice one or two. Plus I believe Rick did some early work w/ Damascus.

Actually, N2K is right.
A 3" non-flipper slicer with a Damascus blade sold at a dealers a little bit ago and the pics are still up.......if you go through the pic threads you can see a few others.....there is definitely a Hellfire and a couple more........and a few of Ricks old school knives, pre-XM, had damascus blades......
They're all pretty spectacular.......but then I find I say that with almost all the customs that come out of the Ranch.......but the damascus XMs are pretty special......

Found my terrible quality cellphone snapshots to prove I'm not completely full of $hit...

I have dug through every pic thread on this site and on other sites multiple times over the past few years. How did I not know that Damascus Xms are out there!!?? Thank you for the pic N2K. Very very cool!!! I would love to see that in person.

As noted, there are a few Damascus XMs, not many, probably could count them on one hand. The RHK shop has Damascus just "laying around" but getting them to use it isn't an easy task. The most recent build was a 3.5" Hellfire I believe. Here are a few pics of Damascus XMs:

Obviously, Rick made his own San Mai Damascus for many knives that came before the XM series.

HOLY HELLFIRE!!!

To stay on topic - I finally purchased an HDS after reading through this thread. Love it.

Rich, thanks for hunting down and posting those beautiful images. I got to hold and flip and almost drool on the damascus Hellfire....some lucky someone owns that thing.

Chris, nice choice on the HDS. But I'm sure the gripes I've posted time and again will become evident. If one does not mind the heft that makes the HDS lights feel larger than they really are. Can get over the smooth-ish knurling. And is ok with the very quick step-down in output after turning the light on, as well as the annoying flashes and lower output as the cells deplete, then they are fantastic EDCs.

I laughed out loud at this one.......:D

Got my D25C in. Really like this light. Very light for such a powerful light. The user interface also doesn't take long to figure out. So far it's a good choice. Thanks guys.

Brian......glad you like it......I really do as well.......awesome little light considering the size, power and price......
Especially the power.....:D

Can you tell I like it haha
Edc right! See, it's worth what it costs. Can you tell my girlfriend that!
