Got one of those Ted. :D
Plastic lanyard still attached.

I haven't ever seen anything quite like that. Very cool! :D:thumbup:

Very cool Bob. It makes me remember that great feeling as a kid when you get some neat treasure like that one.

Or like this one.....

Man being a kid back in the day was fun. These wimpy new adults wouldn't ever let this be produced

A couple better pics of my great-grandma's old Imperial fixed blade and my newly acquired Kamp King.

In Alabama for work this week and there are flea markets galore stand by for some finds coming soon

Found this one Friday. Tang marked Camillus 1981. All blades and tools are intact and in great shape. Used to see these all the time but now not as often and the prices are usually high.

Just found this Robeson at my local flea market. Aside for cosmetic issues, it's very solid and has a ton of life left in it. Definitely going into regular rotation. Not sure if it's bone or synthetic handles. Anyone have an idea on the age?

. Rodgers Hawkbill and Syracuse (NY) for $20. Also got a small Challenge Cutlery single-spring, 2 blade that will need some TLC for $2.

cheesemaster, I know nothing about your knife, but I Googled "Robeson 622636" and got at least a page of relevant results. I didn't follow any of the links, but I did notice that in the brief excerpts that accompany each result, the words "strawberry bone" showed up frequently. I'll bet you could satisfy some of your curiosity about the knife with a little simple research!

Yeah, I googled "Robeson 622636" and I think that first "6" meant either bone or plastic handles. I've read that many people can tell bone from plastic by looking very closely, but comparing it to other knives in my collection, I'm not 100% sure either way. The pic looks more pinkish than it does in person, so maybe it is "Strawberry Bone." But I'm partially colorblind and have trouble with that type of thing sometimes. A little more searching suggests 1940-64 based on the tang stamp. All in all I really like it.
