Flea market finds

I was surprised to find this buckle for $4 on July 4th. 1976 isn't that long ago, and yet I was only 19.

Almost forgot the marbles: I have more than enough, but when the price is right I buy them because Dad would have. Though he had more than enough marbles too.

Great stuff, Fodderwing Fodderwing . What's the fixed blade?
Thanks Jer. The tang reads "Fundicion de Artileria". Military? I'm fairly certain this knife is old but my spanish is pretty rusty and most everything on the net pertinent is in spanish. I am certain the sheath is original. Any info would be appreciated. :)
Edit - below that is "MEXICO" - on other side of tang - " S' "

Nice finds! The Buffalo Head is a good place to put on the feedbag. Haven't been there in a few years though.

They're basically a Mexican take on the MK2/KA-BAR.

I'm afraid they closed a few years ago. Last year the cousins said it was open sometimes, perhaps on holidays? We used to make a point of gathering there every year.

just found this last Saturday at the flea market.
$10.
Folks on the forum think it may be from WWI era.

It looks old, all right. I have one without the broad grooves and with a smaller, welded Shiva notch (yours looks forged). Very cool. I've yet to see one with a by-knife sharp enough to cut with or hard enough to steel with.

Check out Shcloagladitoria YouTube channel, really great info on some kukris, and antique swords, mostly a sword channel plus a bit of stuff bout Sheffield.

Imperial cub, EC Simmons Keen Kutter swayback, Olsen whittler. I didn't know the double linerlock went back as far as Imperials with solid bolsters.

Cattaraugus Cutlery Co Little Valley NY. Too bad about the pen blade.

This old drive belt is going to be some nice, stout sheathes.

The guy thought the thing in the background was a farrier's tool. I think it's a boot-jack, but it's a nice bit of smithery, and for $2.50, how could I not.

Steady rain this morning. A good day to hit a few flea markets. Found these two in the same place.

Holy Cow, Dwight, those are fantastic flea market finds!!!:thumbsup::cool::cool::thumbsup:
You've found an entirely different class of flea markets than I have access to! In 4.5 years (admittedly only about 6 trips to flea markets), I haven't found anything close to the "treasures" you've located in, what, the last week?!!:cool::thumbsup:
