Took the parents out to a new fancy pizzaria for lunch. The gluten free pizza for my mother, turns out has a really tough to cut crust. Apparently they could only score it with the pizza cutter and not cut it. Their solution was to bring her a butter knife which was worthless.
Even proved to be a bit of a challenge for the Magnacut
My mother asked me jokingly how many deer I’ve skinned with that knife. I told her only 2 so far, I think she thought I was joking about actually skinning deer with it haha

A little homemade beef and barley. There were a lot of steps to this but I had a surplus of ingredients I needed to use up. The base was tomatoes, red peppers, and spinach with enough Warsteiner and Worcestershire to get them moving in the blender. That got cooked down and mixed with fried carrots, celery, green onions, and beef; which all got cooked down again in leftover chicken broth before adding butter and barley.
