Food and Blades

last Sunday was the Eastern Orthodox Christians Easter, a week later than the "American" Easter we celebrate in this great Country.
Being good Christian, I celebrated both holidays, two weekends in a row... 🤣
Lot's of traditional Eastern European food, whole roosted lamb in the oven , home made cured meats and tons of salads.
It was a good two weeks stretch...:thumbsup:

Not my knife, it's obvious what they got me doing again, but it was pleasure to touch up friend's edge...

What does bear's garlic taste like ?
It's wild garlic, it has the same taste but (for me) more subtle, more pleasant.
Everything can be eaten in wild garlic, from the stem to the leaf, including the buds and even the flowers in a salad.
With the buds you can marinate them in vinegar with spices (like gherkins) it's excellent as an appetizer or with cold cuts.

Sounds good, but must be pretty expensive if you have to steal it from a bear.
