Had to look it up. "Cowabunga" originated in a 1950s children's TV show, the frequent exclamation of Chief Thunderthud, aka Jay Silverheels who later was cast as Tonto in the Lone Ranger.

Interesting Victorinox applied it to scales juxtaposed over a sewer cover and a slice of pizza.
