Food and Blades

If you ever need any railroad spikes, to make a knife or three, let me know. 😉
We had billions of em when we had the ranch. We literally had two steel sports type lockers fill of em. Gave most of them away. From a practical point even the high carbon spikes don't really have enough carbon to make a good user. Much of the fencing on most ranches in this area incorporates a lot of railroad ties:

We're actually standing on one of those lockers looking over the fence. It had fallen over many many years ago.

Here's a knife that will turn a bull calf into a steer and the steer will be food:

I just watched a video short, of a guy making a knife out of a spike. It looked kinda like the Marfione logo knife.

For wall art they're pretty nice, wouldn't use one for much else.

If I hear of any tie projects happening locally, I'll let you know.

Nah thats ok. Every time I work with them, I say never again!
