The Spydiechef is back at it, but this time she's blue. View attachment 1333032 View attachment 1333034
Had some for lunch. With the grocery stores staying behind on stock, I ended up with Bar-S brand. Just like a lot of things, cheaper does not always mean better.
It's running on quite small phosphor bronze washers, as it should. Bearings would gum up too easily for cooking use.I'm digging the spydiechef! how is the action? Ball bearing or washers? Just curious because I've always wanted one but the action I've been told is a little stiff.

The action is super smooth if oiled up. It'll drop open and closed once you take the lockbar tension off, with no blade play. I just rinse it under the sink after food prep, so the action isn't always Spydie Taichung quality after many uses in that case, but still better than most knives. I highly recommend picking one up!
It was pretty tasty.Damn! Maple glazed donut sausage egg cheese sandwich! Wow, I need one of those.
Al Pastor Burrito!
