This was leftovers. Fried grit cakes and a side of East Meets West. Chinese bacon, dried Smithfield country ham, in a garlic chili sambal hash
D2 may not have been the best steel choice for today, knowing that I have acidic fruit in my lunchbox. At least it's coated, though.

Good sausages and a good orange knife
Carried this beauty today and almost didn’t even get to use it. Luckily was too busy for lunch so I needed a snack to carry me to dinner. At first I was bummed that the first cutting this old knife ever did was an apple. However when I told my wife that she said “ I think that’s perfect, it’s an old guys knife and what’s more old guy then sittin down and slicing an apple ?!” Damn I love that woman.
