I wish I cook for all you guys! I have this fantasy that one day I'm gonna open a Chinese BBQ meats and noodle shop that serves beers and cocktails.

This was leftovers. Fried grit cakes and a side of East Meets West. Chinese bacon, dried Smithfield country ham, in a garlic chili sambal hash
 
Carried this beauty today and almost didn’t even get to use it. Luckily was too busy for lunch so I needed a snack to carry me to dinner. At first I was bummed that the first cutting this old knife ever did was an apple. However when I told my wife that she said “ I think that’s perfect, it’s an old guys knife and what’s more old guy then sittin down and slicing an apple ?!” Damn I love that woman.View attachment 1375522
