Food prep EDC blades.

All this #42 talk is making me hungry! Errr.. For a new knife.
Never seen that pattern before, but I'm a noob by all definitions.

Here are some shots of me actually using my EDC at work, making food for my employees and coworkers.
Phillip Kelleher Custom slicing kiwi and "choppin" lettuce.

And then my custom 940 slicing strawberries and showing off for the cooks.

Nice... In left Benchmades behind for a while, but I'm looking at the 710 again.

My 940 is with me everyday, always there in my pocket.
I love it so much I'm looking for another with a satin blade to have as backup.
There's a member selling an M4 710 and I'm still telling myself I don't need it.
The 710 is the only knife besides a 940-1 that I think could ever replace my current Osborne.

So far dragonfly v duck and hatchet v ribs are tied for the lead as best submission!
TGLB breaking down whole chicken and beef is close behind in second.
Just my opinion lol not a competition.. Or is it?

We'll be at the hospital tomorrow morning @ 5:00am for scheduled induction.
My wife can't eat too early before so she wants watermelon tonight, I'll have pics up later of the carnage.

As promised Benchmade 15001-1 v Watermelon.

Wow, congrats man!

Yes, congrats on the baby! New baby stoke beats anything. Nothing in the world can compare to that.

And the duck was fantastic! I can take none of the credit there as my lovely wife outdid herself. I will say, those leg joints are very different than a chicken. I guess I've never taken down a duck before. The Para 2 was the right tool for the job though!

I had a dog that loved both cantalope and watermellon. I used to get suck a kick when she would drag her teeth across the rind of a cantalope to get the flesh. The watermellon pictures are great! Congrats on the new Lance Jr.

Ha that reminds me of my black lab she will hold a raw cob of corn in her paws and eat it from side to side like a person always makes me smile, and just to keep this sort of on topic my sodbuster Jr handles any food prep that I need it to, that thin hollow grind slices through food like nobody's business

Congrats! And how did it go? Did you bring something special to cut the cord?

Nothing like that "new baby smell"! When you hold that new, precious little human being in your arms for the first time....EVERYTHING else just floats blissfully away. Nothing else like it in the world.

Cherish the moments. You'll never get em back!

Well AntDog, we are still here.. It's our first baby and she's not dilating like they'd hoped. If things don't progress much farther too soon they'll have to perform a cesarean section.
I brought my Solution and my 940 (it really is always with me), but the RS is in the car guarding the car seat.
We definitely need prayers to help keep mom in good shape, she's super tough and making great headway, but none of us guys can imagine what's going on inside there.
Keep in mind I'm 6"4 and my wife is only 147lbs full term so it's a tight fit.
Once I get a chance to run to the vending machine I'll snap a pic of my mini-meal.

Hahahaha! What a trooper! Wife's in labor and you're still gonna get some food and cut it up for us? Only if you have time brother!

When my last child was born I had gone to get food for all of us at Burger King. Everything was fine.... When I got back "I'm in labor! Let's go, NOW!" Wow, ok! By the time we got to the hospital she was dilated to a 7 and I believe a 10 = birth! She almost had our daughter in the car!

The one before her was a different story. Took a looooong time to dilate.

They can give her drugs for that to speed the dilation along and to loosen everything up if it's not already. Also, if her water hasn't broken yet, they may do that. Don't freak out. That will speed it up.

I'll be praying. Just hang in there and be your wife's rock. Be nice, be cool, collected. Everything will be fine.

Oh, I forgot knife content..... Ummm, run out there and get that Rat to cut the cord! You'll always remember it, and you'll never, ever get rid of that knife!

They ended up having to perform a c section but everything still went great!
Mother and child are both doing fine just hungry on both ends.
Mommy can't eat until the morning do it's ice chips all the way tonight.

Here's the little troublemaker in all her glory,
Baby Madelyn
