For all you Spyderco fans!

Happy B-day! Unfortunate choice for a gift though. Don't get me wrong, I love my spyderco's... but geez that thing is gonna be there FOREVER! FOREVER!!!:eek:

As a rule of thumb, never get a tattoo that you can not cover-up when the need arises... job interview, police lineup...etc... ;) Hopefully you will live a long and full life and won't regret your decision.

thanks for the positive reinforcement, lol :p

It looks like the guy did it free hand.
Doesn't look like he used a stencil, at least to me that is.
Maybe my eye's are off.

Happy Birthday.

Now go get that off your hand... consider it one of those little life lessons on what not to do.

Later on when you actually get a job after you interview you will laugh at what you thought was a good idea.

I hire many people and while I could care less what you got covered up I would not hire someone with that on their hand, neck, or any other place it was visible.

I had a guy come in and interview for a position I was hiring for last week. He had a shaved head and the words "Fontana 909" tattooed into the back of his head... as if its hard to remember where you come from.

He asked me why he was having trouble getting a job? I figured I would let him figure it out.

Don't know if the spyderco logo is known by the majority of people. Most would probably think you're affiliated with some kind of gang, which might not be such a good thing... But, hey, whatever floats your boat

Nice knife and tattoo. Congrats to you for your birthday it is an exciting time of life.

Don't let the spoilsports take the wind out of your sails.

That's dedication, congratulations and happy birthday.

There needs to be someone named Benchmad3 to show their dedication with one of these tattooed. ;)

Looks like neat work, but "in the biz" we call hand/face tattoos Jobstoppers.

No doubt.....aka....moron markers.....aka....jail entry applications....:D

Bottom line, is that no professional shop worth going to will give a hand/face tattoo to an 18 year old without any previous tattoos...it isn't ethical, and it certainly isn't respectable.

During the 10 years I was full time, The only hand tattoos that I did were cover-ups, or finish work to people looking to cap off sleeves......OLDER people.;)

I'll be tattooing at Blade, FWIW, but I'm already booked up.:)

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson
