Hey now,

You guys have to give me a chance to sell them in the exchange forums and order cheap knockoffs first.

You mean yours isn't puckered up tight? What happened? Snow shoveling accident? Encounter with a rabid thoroughbred stud?

...um....

Gus,
Check went out in today's office mail. You should get it in a couple days.
Thanks again,
Alex

Ok guys, we can have fun, but let's keep the language G rated.:D

Got checks from El Lobo, Rosconey2, db and Thomason today.
Emails were sent, goats will eat high on the hog again tonight and the list was updated (page one).

Was there enough in Thomason's check to cover my purchase ? If not, the boy's stuff is in the wind ! :D

I was going to use yours and Thomason's to buy my knives. Now things are all screwed up.:p

hmmmm heard a rumor it takes 8 weeks or so for the chinese to knock off and copy a product-collect 78 beans a pop-buy china made swag for 1.99 a dozen-

sounds like a good way to make a buck-lol

Just wait. . . . .it WILL get worse ! :D

Now that the BFC 2006 knife is old news, I thought you guys might like to see the 2007 BFC knife. The knife design was selected by Gigone, based on a similar one he EDCs. Bear in mind this is only a prototype. The actual knife will have old style Rogers jigged bone scales to give it a more traditional look in keeping with the spirit of BFC Traditional sub-forum.

That is flat out awesome!!!!!

Maybe we could get "Blade Forums Mall Ninja" electroetched on the reverse side of the blade?

Good choice...lets start taking orders to alleviate the wait on the 2007 knife.

OK, OK, I know...

Bill

P. S.
Maybe a goatshead shield...so Gus will do all the work again. :D

Yeah that's really cool, and definitely traditional. Why, it's got a bottle opener, some wire strippers, and lots of other doohickies that I'm not familiar with, but I'm sure they all have a practical purpose. Sort of a fixed blade SAK concept right?

Dayum, you can't keep a secret ! :D

I'm glad that I'm not the only crazy bastid that likes it (see El Lobo and longbeachguy's posts). :p

I only want one if there's a black-blade option. This one doesn't match my trench coat.

duh........

"Master knifemaker Gil Hibben teamed with fantasy artist Kit Rae. Together they have created a work of art!"

Wow a work of art, what more can you ask for. Instead of 420 J2 steel, maybe we could get AUS 4 steel......

Checks came in from Shaldag and Bushkill today.

List has been updated. Emails sent.

Here's an older pic, it was german made for Hoffritz, I'll have to look for the name when I go upstairs to bed,(it's in the tray by my side of the bed:D )(with my other EDC choices for the week:D ) anyway here's a slightly better pic to whet your ring turning knife whistle(did that actually make sense:confused: ).

This baby sees lots of pocket time and the twist rings get turned about as often as my BM ARES got flicked and I'm happy to say neither has ever failed(that's a lot)

Most ring turners, actually all the ones I've handled or seen were all metal construction, the CSC knife is the first one with scales I've seen and it looks gorgeous.

Thanks T. Erdelyi. You too Thomason - good eyes for a Goofy Dufus. ;)

At least we got a whistle whetting.

I hope ours hold up as well as that one. I think I would have to keep toting it even after the CS ones come in. There is something about good honest wear and care on a knife and that one shows it well.
