Congratulations! Enjoy it...First official day of retirement.
Thank you! By the way, the mug doesn't really signify my new attitude. It's more wishful thinking than anything. I've been in customer service one way or another since I was 17, so 38 years now.Congratulations! Enjoy it...
Congratulations Jeff.21°F and sunny this morning. We escaped the latest storm by a few miles. Very little snow but lots of freezing rain. Communities to the west and north are still without power but should be restored soon.
First official day of retirement.

I'm going to have to pay for extended health coverage as well and I'm also in the market for a nice little 19' travel trailer. We've got plans to travel the U.S.A in the coming years and see all of those amazing national parks of yours. I'm hoping for a nice little warehouse job that I can work a few days per week. Ooh, there is also this little Buck addiction that's going to required some funding...Congratulations Jeff.
As soon as I get the house paid off I'm going too! It's the health care premium that keeps me working. I gotta pay for it at retirement.

good thinkin there. Ive learned to enjoy the chaos of workin, for now anyways......sure would like supply chain and labor to stabilize though....thats been rough.I remember 17, it seemed like forever but the years started to fly by and now I could swear it was yesterday. Dinner sounds great but I'd be honored if you'd show me the finer points of harvesting and enjoying Florida sugar cane.
I was in the same boat. Age 62 would have been financially sound but my father was diagnosed with cancer at 56 and my mother passed from cancer at 74. I decided to go now on a reduced income but supplement that with part-time employment when necessary.Congratulations Jeff ! Enjoy your retirement and those Buck knives!
Retirement sounds good and I’ve been considering a talk with a retirement specialist planner myself. I’m still 5 years from full retirement age but I’m hoping I can swing it in my favor to take it early. There’s some things I’d like to do before I’m not as able to as I’ve seen other fellas wait till full retirement and then their health and mobility limits what they can do.
Wait... I don't know if I should Like, Laugh or Cry for that?J Jeff of the North - congratulations on the retirement!
I'm 57 and I ran the financial numbers in a spreadsheet . . . I should be able to retire in about 318 years.
Thank you! I have a list of destinations a mile long and a few Bucks to test out. One of my first stops will be Yellowstone where I plan to sit by the fire and learn how to whittle with a 301.Jeff, congratulations! Hope you get a chance to use your Buck knives camping in our national parks soon. Sounds like a great plan for retirement!
Thank you! Yes, the thought has crossed my mind. Too much time might end being too many knivesCongratulation Jeff ! Just think of all the free time you will have to shop for more Buck knives.![]()
