Force Mutiplier V8 has arrived !

This is my sheath for at least a week. Can't work leather until next weekend.

I usually buy my leather at tandy, it helps thought to be close enough to actually pick what i want in person. As for the double edge a thick welt takes pretty good care of that. Its not like daggers haven't been made for centuries. I've planned to do a kydex sheath too when I get around to it.
Thanks Cricketdave. I think I might try just ordering some. I'm always thinking of things I wish I had a little leather to work with. And it isn't like I don't have a bunch of knives needing sheaths anyway. I could probably use up a whole shoulder just sheathing Busse-kin blades.

Make sure you get shoulder 9oz or better i would say. Belly is cheap and stretches too much It worked okay for a machete sheath but wasn't good for knives. Welting the sheath makes a huge difference. I've cut parts of leather sheaths before but never cut through the welt. That would have to be done intentionally.

Dinged a couple days short of a month ago, and still no shipping notice for me. I guess when you order as many different combos as I did, you're bound to have at least one that's near the end of the line.

cool deal, I was so excited that the FMV8's were coming that I cleaned out my shop and repaired a bunch of stuff so I would have room to work on the sheaths. I'd just finished putting all wood flooring in my house and the shop was packed with trash and sawdust. I cleaned it out, put up new shop lights just so I could work on the sheaths. I'm going to etch the logo on one next week and then strip and bead blast it.

All the trash I pulled out

CF/Black Micarta wait here. I got dinged weeks ago.

Anyone else with that combo still waiting or got theirs? I haven’t seen one posted...pretty sure...

Howdy fellers, brothers & Busse Knife Knuts!
I've had my FMV8 for about a week...
And it's wicked!
I'm very pleased with this knife...
It is hovering around top spot in
Sixx's knife favorites!

I bought Black coated INFI, one with Red & Black g-10, and one for
my "brother" in blue & black.
I think this knife is a home run!
Sharp both sides, CBT, dual guard, skull cracker pommel...
What's not to like?!?!

Anyway, I hope you're all doing great, Busse folks!
Have a great safe weekend!!
Sixx

Turns out I can work on the sheath this weekend. Unfortunately my cement dried up years ago.

Mine had too and the local place that sold it went out of business, found some leather weld at a hobby shop and it works pretty well too. Just not the same as barge cement which is my favorite.

Have you guys tried the E6000 cement? Not sure how it works on leather but it is amazing on other things I have used it on.
