I am very sorry I just assumed it was priority shipping because of previous club knives were shipped priority status as I recall and I don't remember y'all stating 1st Class Post here in the recent threads for this current knife.. But, I should have asked the question myself.. My bad. :( Again, my Apologies.. I will send you out the difference in shipping cost for Priority as opposed to 1st class tomorrow.

No biggie guys, I can just rebox it.

There certainly is no hurry on the shipping part at this point, we are just wanting to get the knife payments done.

Rats. I goofed up ... sent a Priority Mail box.

What can I do to compensate you for the difference?
 
My payment and shipping container are in the mail. They should be there by Friday! Extra funds are included for my Priority Shipping box.

Sorry about the mix-up, Gus. I would prefer Priority Mail, and will gladly send you additional funds, but if that is going to be a hassle for you, I'll send a different box instead. At least the money got there on time.

You should see the return envelope I sent to Bastid.

Yep, it's a padded envelope, but will it withstand the test of the USPS?.........

.............It's a BF knife for crying out loud! Sure it will! :D
 
Yup,

There are a few who are letting us down. Some have written me saying they will be a little late, some I have not heard from at all. If you do not have something in the mail and have not told me, let me know. All of us are counting on folks to meet their commitment.

Gus put it nicely...I'm not nice....

IF YOU SIGNED UP, and fail to meet the commitment this year, we will NOT allow you to sign up for next year's knife, and I personally will post all who failed to honor this commitment in the GB&U section of the BladeForums for your shame and my personal amusement, because that is the kind of bastid I are.

To those that DID pay up, and did what they said they would do, thank you! We will make sure to give updates as they happen, and we hope that everyone likes their 2009 BladeForums knifes.

for whatever reason, i was subscribed to this thread, and it no longer was giving me updates, i forgot all about it.

honest mistake, and i still want 2 of the knives that i committed to and will pay immediately.....cause that is the kinda bastid i am!!

No worries if you have gotten in touch with me. If you have not, please do so as soon as possible. We have to know how many knives to order. We have almost 100 folks participating and things do come up. Two folks had to withdraw for good reason and that is OK since they wrote and explained.
 
If I had to bet, I think it will all come in eventually, but I am not the betting type. :D.

Steven liten up. It's only been a week or so and people do have things that come up. As an example I'm the POA for my soon to be 89 year old Grandfather and have to deal with more problems than you can even guess about. No I'm not going to go into details or do I even feel the need to explain any more than that. My payment and box are on the way, and yes they are not there right on the 6th but I can only do what I can and I'm sure it is the same for most everyone else that has signed up. This forum is full of good people and I believe we all try to do our best. Lets cut everyone a little slak at least for a little longer than right on the due date.
