Quite looking forward to it myself. I carried a 301 as my EDC for some time until I traded it a couple years back. I have a rosewood 301 on the way now. That should hold me over until these ship.

...oh just a collaborative creation which resulted in the best mix of materials and design elements together in a classic 301 form, without breaking the bank ...

resulting in 2 tough particle steel cpm-154 full flat grind blades, with a long pull, gorgeous elk stag scales & nickel silver bolsters
I honestly can't think of a better mix of choices for such a classic design

Put it into perspective: some Traditional Forum knives have arrived in October, the 14 and 17 come to mind. Others closer to Christmas and others the following year... This year's is a big order using natural scales so patience. Anyway, it was originally said maybe the end of October all being well, but which October? And this is the start of October

When I see an update to this thread, I come check in for new photos. Photo updates are fun. Really like the way those flat ground blades are looking. Also nice that these are already paid for. Like someone already said, FREE KNIFE!

My friend, it is more likely that NASA will admit to the world that we are not alone in the universe, than for a Buck 301 to disappoint.

Of course I might be a little biased. I like light pulls. Especially when that (proper term for a female dog) Arthur Ritis comes to visit.

Every time I see this thread bumped to the top I get all excited hoping it's some new WIP photos. So...I decided to dig this 301 out and plunk it in the pocket to try it on for size. Can't wait for the new one!
