Thank you Zulu. Freerk says that he will ship it to me early next week so hopefully next weekend I can bring it to the woods and get some good use on it!
 
wow! Awesome project and killer result! This knife is never going anywhere except through whatever is in front of it. Literally "rock solid".
 
Amen brother. Just an all beef Bowie. Love it. I am excited to see what leatherman comes up with for a sheath after I send it to him. Exciting times. First custom blade and first custom sheath all in one project.

I decided to start chopping and cutting stuff immediately to see how it felt in hand and also to see how the edge would do...spoiler it’s awesome.

Easy 1 chops through smaller pieces:

I’m going to get it all packaged back up and mail it on out to leatherman to have him fix me up a sheath. I can’t wait to have the finished package in hand. This is a cool adventure for me.

Thanks hombre. He really did a good job. I like the character marks etc. I will make the edge razor sharp and polished when I get it back from leatherman.

Wow. I watched every second of that video. Dude is an amazing craftsman!
That is probably the manliest knife I have ever seen great choice.

BTW, he couldn’t believe how big it was either:
