Nice knife!! Blade handmade by Steri??
Hi,
Yes, the blade is forged by Davide. ;)

This knife that brings together 3 people whose work I appreciate very much and whom I thank for having been willing to leave their comfort zone to make this project happen.
Blade of 12 cm in san-mai steel by Davide Steri (talented Sardinian cutler), chiseled fly by François Seychal (engraver trained at the Boule school), smooth spring, full handle in ash burr, assembly by Pierre-Yves Joyeux (Knifemaker from the Thiers basin).

Good for you Corto_Malt Corto_Malt , - what a splendid final product!

Thanks, I think that it is even more sympathetic in real my photos being not of great quality.

Wonderful knife, Corto_Malt Corto_Malt !From the hands of three artists!!
Beautiful composition!!

Thank you. Yours is very good in another style.
It is more classic and very elegant.
This combination of a blade forged by Davide and the knowledge of Pierre-Yves Joyeux gives a very nice knife.

Hello,
Corto_Malt, a GREAT idea to mention François Seychal. He is one of the last engraver in Thiers area to work in this traditional way .
He gives to Pierre-Yves Joyeux a very different style which reminds the knives of the past .

A "Five Roosters" from Stéphane Thomachot, in Barlow clothing!!
Yssingeau is the local name of the style!! Fusion Cuisine; it's tasty, and beautiful!! Declan Barlow 1.jpg Declan Barlow 2.jpg
Boxwood Burl, with a carbon fiber Bolster, and a birdseye rivet button it up!! The handle and blade shapes give it away!! ;)
