My hometown got hit today. Three dead and still quite a few missing. Went to volunteer for S&R but the whole area is closed off and no one is allowed in. They said to bring a chainsaw and come back tomorrow.

dayum!
smoke & prayers heading up for the survivors and families/friends of those that died.

Dayum just picking arrows is difficult.

Im trying to find out which arrows to get but there is so much to it.

Then it looks like they come without any feathers most the time.... I dont want to glue them on myself. I also dont want some guy in a store telling me some bogus crap just to sell his highest priced junk either.

I was gonna tell ya to just get whatever Byron Ferguson uses but he's no sissy so maybe you should just get whatever walmart has :p

Damn, sorry to hear that. I saw that line of storms hitting your area. We didn't get tornadoes in our town, but the wind was vicious.

Yea i meant wall-art

But i did find some 1916s feather fletched with target tips on the river store.

Bout time to put a knife for sale.... The busse might have to go... it would cover arrows, a bow case, arm guard, glove, rest, target, month long range membership and buy me an ontario RD 2 hawk with spike, a new bk11, bk24 PLUS a kabar kukri.... All for selling just 1 knife....

The only time I can remember buying a knife at walmart it was a kershaw crown on sale for $10. Pretty good knife for $10 but I still gave it away.

Tell ya what, send me the Busse and I'll buy you another BK9. :D

Picked up a Skyline at wallyworld for $25 red-tagged. They also sell a bunch of different Beckers on-line, "site to store" meaning from their warehouse (and not some "partner") for very reasonable prices: 70 for a BK-7, 73 for the BK-2 shipped free to your local store. Just seems wrong somehow. I know they try to carry stuff geared towards their local customers, some the stores in more rural parts of NH have pretty good archery sections. Not pro quality, and you have to be your own salesperson, but still...they have Easton carbon arrows! I shoot Easton aluminum, fer pete's sake! WW: get what you think you need and just practice. Equipment's not a big part of the equation unless you're competing, and even then it won't make you a better shooter. Plus, it's better to wait until you've developed your skills before you start buying stuff you might not need and will prolly upgrade anyway.
Shoot me an email with what you think you need. We can probably work out some sort of trade. I prolly got enough stuff to get you started, at least.

WW, learn how to rotate your arm without changingthe position of your wrist, it's all in the elbow.

Armguards are just dead weight, i.e. useless crutches for people that don't rotate their arm out flat vertical wise

Thanks man I will indeed shoot an email your way !!! For now its mostly arrows im needing though, ones that are longer than 27", these are too short for me and geared towards a 60# bow and i got a 40# bow, besides arrows i need an arm-guard and glove. I used tape on my fingers tonight and it was better than nothing but still not very ideal, other stuff like a bow case and arrow rest and stuff like that is just wants really but not needed. I could also use some more skills so if you can send skills this way that would be awesome!! Ill get a list of some knives and stuff together that i could trade as well. Thanks man!!
