Alright, who left the snarklights on and killed the battery? Now it won't snark. Someone get some jumper cables.
 
OK, I've got a beef and a request, and since this is the snark thread, here goes....I've been watching NathanJ's very generous BK10 giveaway thread hovering near the top of the list for 10 days now, and not to take anything away from that but sheesh! Quick scan and it looks like for half the people that are "in" it's their first post, or in their first ten....the only reason I'm even mentioning this is not to complain or detract (although for some reason it still bugs me) but to point out this thread, also a giveaway, but with a purpose: tjswarbrick: Thankful? Pay it forward -Giveaway. It has failed to get any traction at all; almost landed on page two before I made my donation (which took like 30 seconds).... Now I know I'm ruining my chances of winning, but it just can't be that difficult to make a few mouse clicks and donate 5 or 10 bucks and do something for someone else and have a chance at winning a brand new BK11 and a well loved personal EDC light. While I have experienced a lot of generosity here in the forum, this makes me a little...sad. I'd like to see the Beckerheads knock this one out of the park, as one of our own (Kyle, aka averageiowaguy) is there in that maelstrom of human suffering. I'll bump it as many times as I hafta to keep it on page one. But it would be nice to see it stay there under it's own steam, so I'm hoping everyone will get the word out. Please don't let me win this GAW by default.

I never seen that thread, what a very awesome thing to do. I only get paid on the 1st of every month and then a small portion is put onto a prepaid credit card so i will indeed donate then, regardless of an entry, since the GAW ends on the 30th.

You should get double the entries for pointing it out here for others to see.
 
My thing is this, I don't support ARC. They have proven to misappropriate funds. I have donated to another organization however I'm not entering into giveaway.

I don't even know what ARC is, but the OP of the thread asks only that you donate to a relief organization of your own choice. Just making that clear, not a judgement on whether or not you enter the giveaway.

American Red Cross? ah...beat me to it.
 
American Red Cross... I thought that was the requested organization. I may have misread it which is entirely possible.
 
I can taste a difference but its still better than everything else i been drinking the last few days.

 
Yes its still better than coke!!

I like it and that makes it a lot easier to go without the caffeine. If it were nasty id want to go back to regular pepsi but this will do fine!
