Its just the rarity/thirst trap of getting a possibly really unique one they seem to be preying on.
I'm sure there was a fair amount of labor in the jigged cherry, too, but I paid literally half the cost for a Beaver vs what they are asking for a camel, and thats a crazy upcharge, all things considered. I can't recall another time one knife in the same run cost double what another went for from a dealer.
Thanks for the info. I figured as much. Now I’ve just have to decide if I want to blow some money on a “rarity” knife or not. We’ll see.

The camels I’m seeing sure are cool! I got lucky on this one …

This has been a great run - all cover options have been really nice!
Very nice! Camel is tempting... What was the color of the lettering on tube's cap?

My memory is a little rusty and I can't recall what I paid for other gec knifes with camel bone cover. Anyone remember if previous releases were so much more expensive then other covers?

not to my memory, usually the premium is with mammoth stuff like that

I think the last one was the 39 and the highest price I recall seeing on that one was $190 but they seemed to be generally in the $170-180 range.

I feel like this one is higher priced due to the individuality and multiple colors used. Maybe that made manufacturing a lot slower?
