GEC 25s - Gots 'em?

Paul, that's impressive. It wasn't that long ago you only had 4.

I have been massing them at a remailing service in Oregon. Felt like it was time to cash in my chips :)

Ouch, Sarah. Did it take many stitches?

Yes this is a scary prospect. The springs on these 25s are rather firm, I trust you still have the same number of digits?

I like overbuilt little things.

"Overbuilt"-- a good descriptive, and more fetching than "weird."

Hmmm, I should perhaps quickly trademark OLST™, though I doubt it would ever o'ertake WLST® in popular imagination and usage. ;)

• The 25s with the spear blade mains are among my favorite when it comes to looks, but lag behind in (considered) use-- admittedly related to having one close on my finger when performing the knife-specific task of planting one in a near-frozen tree in order to take a picture.

I appreciate your concern.

The pain from a cut of any size, especially on a cold day, does seem to take one's whole self with it(!), but this was thankfully a glancing blow (only a flesh wound!) It obviously could have been much worse, given the knife in question. It mostly just hurt my feelings.

I'm partial to single springs. The stainless spear is one of my favorites to carry.

And wow Paul, such a stunning collection!:thumbup:

Whew! :)

Well, it was time to upgrade the display a bit, the $5.00 shotglass holder from Goodwill just wasn't cutting it anymore...

Sorry for the less than stellar photography, they just came in and I wanted to see how they looked.

Yes, "they". I ordered two, good thing too, as three didn't make it in. (Well, two actually. The black micarta is the pocket pal at the moment)

Has a door and latches even, Hooo, da fancy, yeah? Helps with dust and twitchy tails. Fortunately, up to this point, the collection doesn't seem to have garnered much feline interest.

Let's see how many of the new ones Sarah can spot...

I really like that display, where did you get it? Thanks.
I had 4 of the 25's, but sold one.
I have one made on my wedding date, exact date!
I also have one I edc on occasion, will get pics up soon...

AKC - every time I see it, I'm floored by your collection :)

Here's one you may not have seen. It is a 251109 in Lollypop Red. There was only 4 made in this color.

Thanks for a great thread, guys. I've out feelers out and hope to be able to post something to this thread soon. Love the stainless SF EO! I could see how this model could quickly become a habit.
