GEC 25s - Gots 'em?

I have the spear micarta . Pull is firm but not as stiff as some of the other 25's I have . Mainly ones from 2008 . I don't have the forum knife as reference

Thanks! Knowing they are a bit less stiff than previous versions is really helpful! Just might have pushed me into buying one. :)

GEC is finishing up the last of them, and some dealers have stock of the ones already shipped.

This came in today.

Wow, is that jigging fine! From the little I'd seen from further away, I was hoping GEC was working towards recapturing some of the 'antique horsecut' magic. Sure looks it. Beautiful little knife, that.

Speaking of which, here's yesterday's late arrival, finally in the light of day:

For one who loves blue and WLST®s...? This is about as much as my little heart can take. So well appointed, in its creamy, variably saturated hues, adorning one of the best variations built on this weird little stubby sleeveboard frame.

Gotta say, pertinux...the blue EO from KSF is beautiful and aside from the EO Stag, probably the nicest #25 of this run.

Although this one is my favorite blue...

Thanks, Sarah. I remember your "horsecut" 25 -- very impressive. That's probably the reason I went with this one, the only one I bought from this run besides Barry's.

Great looking knife. Glad you got one.

Just posted this in the modern+traditional pairings. I love the 25! I can keep it in my pocket all day long, so it is always there. It is a hard pull, but as long as my hands aren't wet or oily, I haven't had any problems. This is in Chechen Rosewood.

Quick pic of my matching pair of Natural Stag 25's, both serial number 50. The EO sheepsfoot just came in the mail today. Unfortunately, I have to put them both away until Christmas. Can't wait to carry them after that! :D

That's a nice matched set! I have my little burnt stag spear on the way. Should be delivered today.

Hey guys well I finally purchased a Northfield 25 in Chen Chen wood and I have to say wow just wow I love it. The blade is super sharp and it fits well in the hand. Just a all around beautiful knife. I do have a a question on the scales my 2 lower what I belive to be brass pins are ground flush to the scale, however the upper 2 pins seem to be a bit a bit lower then the scale and not flat but rounded. Thanks for any insight yu could give me sing this is my first 25 and again love the knife just was wondering .
