I sharpened the blade, and now my Unicorn!WLST is going to start earning a patina.
This is my first #25, and my first s-grade GEC. If I hold it in front of a light-bulb I can see light between the spring, liner and cover, but I have to be really looking for it and honestly, that's not something I've ever been too compulsive about. There are a few tiny chips in the acrylic on the pile side where it meets the bolster, and the edge was sorely lacking. I'm very happy with it.
I look forward to seeing a nicely patinaed backspring and blade contrasting with the pretty white covers.
