Alan, I can think of a couple of things, but one is pretty desperate.
1) You could append something like "WINNER: abcdef" to the title of the thread.
2) DESPERATION MOVE: abcdef seems to enter many GAWs, so you could start a new fake GAW to "trap" him into paying attention.

Since he's Registered User...he can't actually see if anybody has left him what was a Visitor Message unless he goes to his profile page and opens it up, there's no alert telling him there are messages there waiting. Could be the reason he just doesn't know?

I left messages on his profile page. Plus he's been active and he's not new here. To me, just doesn't care enough. I'd rather deal with someone who does.

Unfortunately this turned into my first negative BF experience. Lots of unwanted chatter in the thread and an unclaimed prize. So since it was a GAW I made a unilateral decision and Gave it Away.
